I often like to deploy tricks, games or humorous distractions when I hit a creative block; much like Brian Eno’s Oblique Strategies, or Fischli & Weiss’ How To Work Better (pictured below), these serve to bust my brain out of the ditch it’s got itself stuck in when I’m fighting with what to do or where to go next on a project.

So I’ve made Badger vs., a ridiculous game to engage in when you’ve got too much glue and not enough sticks. It works best if there are two or more players, but if you are the solitary type, I recommend speaking aloud your reasons for who the winner is, as forming words and arguing with yourself is a pretty good stategy in itself.

To use, simply go through the various stand-offs and decide who wins -Badger or his opponent/s. By the end, you’ll have forgotten all about that irritating obstruction and will now be spending all your time searching for Honey Badger videos on YouTube (highly recommended) or wondering why copulating toads could be such a deadly, vicious threat.
